One of the dirtiest rooms I've been in! Thick dust under the television and on the window sills. Dark hair on the bathroom floor. When I pointed it out to the housekeeper, she responded that the vacuum cleaner probably didn't pick it up. She told me they don't own a mop, but they do scrub the floor when it "gets really black." While she was removing the dust from under the television, she found an old, used container of make-up.

Clean, quiet and covered all the basics.

Where to start...Location is industrial and rundown. The hallway carpet was coming up off the floor and the hallway itself wreaked so badly of cigarette smoke that we had to hold our breath walking to the room. The room was clean, but old, worn out and depressing. The bed was barely softer than the floor. No amenities, not even shampoo in the bathroom. The police were kind enough to inform me that they ;usually don't have a problem at this hotel. I should consider myself safe as long as I am not out after dark. I will say that the clerk we dealt with was nice and friendly. Travelers beware...the neighborhood is unsafe, the hotel itself is barebones and uncomfortable. Seattle is a fabulous city and there are many many better places and locations in which to stay.

This hotel is badly in need of an upgrade. The hallways are dingy and need of paint. My room had a 19" TV with a remote that didn't work. Bring your own shampoo because all they give you is soap.
