We were passing through town on I75 coming back to Illinois from Florida. On the way down, we stayed at the Holiday Inn which was also in Cartersville. Hands down, there was no comparison, the Fairfield was MUCH nicer and more economical! It was the cleanest, most modern hotel that I've seen in a long time! We stayed in a king suite ($*/night) and it was $* cheaper than the king suite that we had stayed in at Holiday Inn. Before I departed the Fairfield I intended to complement management on how pleased that I was with our stay. Finding them was a crap shoot, as we were searching for hotels in the Carterville area and they were the first one that we called. The price was right so we booked the room while we were about 2 hours away. It's very obvious that they take tremendous pride in keeping their hotel clean. I was truly impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for alot of "bang for their buck"!
