  Great location, close to shopping/restaurants. Staff really great and friendly. Breakfast bar has waffle iron!! Breakfast room somewhat tight. Liked complementary USA TODAY under door. Hotel clean and decent, but not swanky or anything. Never thought, ""wow, NICE"", but good value for price. Bed comfy. Dehumidifier in room great for south Louisiana. Check in/out easy and quick. Main disappointment was indoor pool was not heated (like all Fairfields). Not looking for ultra luxury or anything, but pool was icy cold and only swam for 15 minutes until my 3-year-old was cold and wanted to get out.

  I had a very good experience with the staff during my stay. They were very attentive and accommodating. The only thing i would recommend was the whole building needs a facelift especially the rooms. The lobby was inviting, but the rooms, exercise room (broken mirror)and pool needs a face lift. Fairfield/Marriot needs to pay attention to this property.
