I have frequented this property of the last couple of years and it is always in like new condition. The people are very kind and generous. If you need any type of assistance they are at your service 24/7. The breakfast is far better than most have to offer and the small restaurant provides quality food. The restaurant service is excellent also. They also have new gym equipment. You can always expect the GM to come around during breakfast to visit and get feedback about your visit. I enjoy the property. Very Very Clean!

When we arrived late from our flight, the shuttle driver was very nice. When we arrived at the hotlel, it was real nice and the ladies at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant! The restaurant was very clean and the food was great! We were expecting very small rooms for NYC, but to our surprise the rooms were standard size and amazingly clean! And the best part, the entire hotel is smoke free! We would definatley stay again! Feb 2010

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Usually, a hotel stay near an airport leaves a lot to be desired and I was anticipating the worst. After a 10-hour overseas flight, all I really needed was a place to sleep, but I got more than that. The Fairfield Inn at JFK has an airport shuttle service that is very efficient and got me to and from the airport in record time. The front desk clerk was friendly and even handed me cookies! This hotel is clean and modern. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and a sitting area; the bathroom was very clean with shiny floors and counters. The hotel also has a media center for airline check-in and boarding pass printing and a free continental breakfast. I can't think of anything they didn't do right. I will stay there again.

Handy airport hotel, recently redecorated. Room small but completely adequate. Bathroom nice. Biggest negative was heater... extremely noisy- it was cold out and heater mostly blew cold air and then some hot. Staff eager to help. Restaurant on premises handy though food not wonderful. Breakfast generous but mainly packaged foods. Self made waffles nice. Appreciated the 1p checkout with flexibility. Shuttle to hotel not operating at night when we came in... supposed to take air train and then call hotel. On return to airport, shuttle every hour on the hour which is okay but evey half hour would be better; shuttle bus totally full.

I had a flight arriving at JFK about midnight and was flying out the next morning around 9am. The Fairfield Inn in Jamaica turned out to be the perfect hotel for an overnight stay. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't recommend it for a family vacation because it's in a pretty dismal area in terms of charm. Grey and industrial and very near the expressway. However, for an airport hotel it excels. The room was spotless, the whole place is non-smoking, the tv was large. The lobby was spotless and the staff bent over backwards to make sure we had a great stay. They even gave us warm chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. Truly nice people. Friendly and warm. The airport shuttle service was on-time and efficient. I've rarely had a more positive experience at an airport hotel.
