  At this hotel, whenever I come to this area, I always stay here. It is the best. The front desk people are very friendly and helpful, and we love the setup for breakfast, especially the waffle maker. We went to a different Fairfield in another city and they did not have one. It was a disappointment.

  BE AWARE!! When travelling with pets make sure the hotel where you're staying is pet friendly. We booked a room at the Marriott Fairfield Inn in Santa Clarita last weekend on Travelocity. That was fine until we got to the hotel to discover that we were being charged a ""pet fee"" of $$- nonrefundable, for our cats to stay. There was no mention on the website that a ""pet fee was applicable. Otherwise we would have stayed somewhere else. It was late when we checked in and there was no way we were going to leave our cats in the car in 100 degree weather. The clerk pointed to a small sign and said ""There's a pet fee. $$. Nonrefundable."" Very cold and matter of fact about it. I was not impressed with the Marriott Fairfield Inn and I won't return. I'd rather spend my money on accomodations which allows travelling pets to stay with out charge. The Marriott Fairfield Inn is a ripoff when it comes to accomodating travelling pets. Daviid Wagner
