The room was very comfortable and much larger than a typical room at this type of hotel. I was on the first floor which was technically below ground -- I found this a plus when staying in the tornado belt during high tornado season! The in-room guide states that US Today newspapers are delivered to the room daily, however that was not the case. The newspapers were available, but you had to pick them up near the front desk. Consequently I missed getting one two of the days during my stay as they were out by the time I asked for one. Overall, a great experience!

We've stayed at this Fairfield twice in the last 2 years. Mainly because it's one of only two hotels in the area (Crown Center to Country Club Plaza) that have rooms with 2 queen beds. The other is the Country Club Courtyard which is nice too. The Fairfield is also one of the few with an indoor pool although it's pretty small. The hotel is newer so everything is in good shape and it's kept very clean. The staff was very helpful as well. The only down side - we had a side vent window in our car busted out while in the parking lot. They never got into the car and it didn't even look like they really tried so it might have actually been an accident or vandalism. Having to pay for a new car window certainly negated the cost savings of staying at the Fairfield. I think I'd stay there again if we needed those accommodations (indoor pool, queen beds) but I'd park right outside the room or office window instead of farther out in the lot.

The location was good, the bed was comfortable. Desk clerk was not particularly helpful. Upon check-in, found our king bed room was on the ground floor, where we could hear the street traffic quite clearly. Asked for an upper floor and had to pay extra - all the remaining rooms were double queen which was a higher rate. Since we were staying at a time when the hotel was not at full occupancy AND I am a Marriott Rewards member, I think that for good customer service they could have moved us without charge (it was nominal, so not a big deal for them, but would have been godo on principle). Housekeeping staff is indeed noisy and not always paying attention to a "Do Not Disturb" sign before they knock, and heed the warnings about the walls - they are THIN and you can hear everything in the hallway and adjacent rooms.

This was a good choice for our over night stay. Upon arrival the desk clerk was very knowlegable and answered all our questions. We requsted an early check-in and had no problems with it.The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. The tv worked and had a variety of channels. The air conditioner worked and kept the cool and comfy. The only time I heard any of the other guests is when I was out in the hallway, otherwise the room was pretty quiet. I would stay here again.
