This is a great Inn situated in south Lafayette. It is on the river and close to shopping and good restaurants. The staff are courteous and the room was upgraded for free to a suite. The room is very comfortable and well decorated. The sheets were clean and fresh. The bathroom was clean. This place has all of the amenities. We would stay again and recommend it to friends. The price is right and the wi-fi internet is fast.

I am a resident of Lafayette, LA. I had family come into town to stay overnight after an outpatient surgery. Not only did the staff greet my family but went out of the way to make the accommodations fit the need. I travel a lot for business and stay at various hotels such as Crowne Plaza, Double Tree, Marriott and Hilton. This establishment can hold its own against any of those mentioned above.
For service, cleanliness, and location this is a business travelers dream. The facility is big enough to accommodate your needs yet small enough to where you feel comfortable like a bed & breakfast or an Inn. Fairfield/Marriott did an excellent job at staffing this Hotel. The manager and staff are very attentive to your needs. The facility is about a year old and the rooms are comfortable and fresh. I recommend this place to my family and business associates coming into Lafayette. The staff is very professional but has that wonderful Cajun Hospitality.
The Hotel is right behind Outback Steak house and a Chili?s is less than 1/8 mile away. There is no shortage of great restaurants in Lafayette. The hotel is located approximately 10-15 min from Lafayette Regional Airport. The only thing I don't know is whether or not they have a shuttle for the airport. -

Stayed here as part of driving vacation. Hotel is less than a years old, and is nice and clean. room excellent, bed very comfortable. Room contained a fridge and microwave. Room was missed by cleaning service on one day, but the hotel comped me the total for the day, so it was OK. Typical continental breakfast. Next to Outback steakhouse, with lots of good restaurants nearby. Note that the traffic can be bad in this area during evening rush hour traffic, but clears up quickly.
