This Fairfield is sadly run-down and needs a re-do. The first room I was assigned had a non-operating A/C. There was only one other room available and I took it; very loud and barely blowing A/C. Outside temp was in the 40's and it was around 80deg in my room. Smelly pillows, small, non-flat-screen TV, phone that only worked half the time. I stay at a lot of Marriott properties and this was the weakest I've seen in a long time. Cut my stay short to go to the Fairfield/Shreveport, which is excellent.

Theft, missed cleaning, lack of attention

1. a maid took change off of the dresser and then claimed she thought it was a tip.
2. my car was broken into ...My experience here included;
1. A maid took change off of the dresser and then claimed she thought it was a tip.
2. My car was broken into in the parking lot. The staff were completely apathetic and all they did was offer to let me use their phone to call the police.
3. The USA Today daily paper was missed for several days.
4. No hot breakfast - food service is mediocre.
The manager responded appropriately but the damage has been done. My opinion of Marriott in general has been damaged by this one property.
The manager asked me to give the property another chance in the future. I emailed him last week offering to do so. He never had the courtesy to respond. I'm done with Marriott. -
