my son and i drive 4 hours from where we live to stay here. he LOVES the waterpark and has a blast every time we go. we do wish they had longer hours, like start earlier in the day, but that's the only drawback. the hotel has always been clean and has a very nice, friendly staff. i've never had a problem at all. we go to rapid and this hotel several times a year, like i said we drive 4 hours and this is our "vacation" for a couple days. the whole rapid city area is a fun place but we go to this hotel even during the off season. it is close to the mall, just one exit i believe. there is not a lot of food right around hotel but there is a couple fast food places. i've also seen pizza delivered to the waterpark. they also have a little bar/grill type food at the park. last time we went it was closed for remodeling so i can't wait to go soon to see what they've done. there is a bar also in the waterpark so if you're kids are off playing parents can sit at their table and have a couple drinks, which is sometimes nice. anyway...stay here!!!

The hotel was on the outskirts of Rapid City next to the Highway. It was easy to get to restaurants, shopping, etc because of easy freeway access although there was not a lot right there. We liked the internet access available at no cost. The place was clean and well kept. There were lots of kids as the Waterpark was next door.

The hotel location was excellent for exploring the area. It had a nice central location for our adventures. The front desk was very helpful when we asked questions. The room was clean when we arrived and thoroughly cleaned each day of our stay. The morning buffet was yummy and there were plenty of choices (juice, coffee, hot chocolate,fruit, yogurt,bread, bagels, english muffins, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, waffles, etc.)
