We just got back yesterday and had a great time. This is a solid 3.5-4 star hotel and we enjoyed it even though there were some flaws. Here's the lowdown: PROS 1. The beach is gorgeous. And, unlike other areas of Mexico, you can actually play in the aqua blue waves here. 2. The service was very good and the staff was nice. 3. It felt safe and secure and was in a nice part of Cancun, surrounded by golf courses, other hotels and the lagoon. 4. The food was good and higher quality than we expected. We especially enjoyed the Cervicheria and Kambu, where they had great sashimi and fish green curry. 5. Pool, room and hotel facilities were clean. 6. The weather was amazing - 85 and sunny. November is an excellent time to go because it is the off season, so not full, but still gorgeous. CONS 1. We were supposed to get a $* room upgrade and $* spa credit through Capital One. The hotel repeatedly said they did not have an upgrade room available but the hotel was far from full. I tried to book a mini massage that was "on sale" for $* but when I told them I wanted to use the spa credit, they refused. It seemed like both incentives were worthless. 2. We got 2 double beds instead of 1 king. When we asked for a king, they said we would have to move to a much less desirable room. Again, it was odd that there wasn't a single king bed room with a view when the hotel only seemed half full. 3. The entertainment was pretty lame. 4. The hotel was far away from shopping. We thought the bus was scary. 5. They really pushed the drinking hard.

I am so thankful we picked this hotel. We did it off the internet and by reading reviews. It was fantastic! Rooms were cool clean and comfortable. Food was very good. Beach and pool excellent. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Great for couples or familys. The shows the hotel put on in the evening are very professional and have amazing costumes. Great place for everyone. We visited some of the larger hotels but I was still happier with the Condessa.

I am so thankful we picked this hotel. We did it off the internet and by reading reviews. It was fantastic! Rooms were cool clean and comfortable. Food was very good. Beach and pool excellent. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Great for couples or familys. The shows the hotel put on in the evening are very professional and have amazing costumes. Great place for everyone. We visited some of the larger hotels but I was still happier with the Condessa.I give all catagories a 5. The only problem is the Lobby was not airconditioned and some of the specialty resturants could have been cooler. The high priced 5 star Hotels were the same Hot lobbies restrooms etc!!!

I am so thankful we picked this hotel. We did it off the internet and by reading reviews. It was fantastic! Rooms were cool clean and comfortable. Food was very good. Beach and pool excellent.
