Having travelled extensively in the USA, Four Points Sheraton, Lagos hotel presented an unsurpassed value for my money. From royally clad fashion models in the lobby, regal and splendid, to the employees at the reception desk, all hands were on deck to serve the patrons.If the fridge or television was not functioning, the night engineer was at my room instantly.The room was spacious for my needs, the king size bed was opulent and comfort was maximized with the soft, pliant pillows.The lobby was enchanting, and the idea of a mini library was meaningful. While perusing the book shelf, I found a book on architecture written on a cultural icon, a relative of mine. The buffett was definitely a royal welcome, and the fitness room was fitted with high tech equipment. The tread mill housed mini screens for the soccer enthisiast.I had hoped that the night club was fully functioning like the one at Sheraton Abuja, but considering that FPS just opened in September, 2010, I would not hold this point against this establishment. In fact, considering its location in Leki, the low key night life might indeed be an advantage. Even though, Sheraton Abuja had a much more festive night life, it does not offer anything else that brings it on the same league with Four Points. However, both have something in common in the way and manner the employees were enthusiastic and committed to their job. One employee, in particular comes to mind at FPS. She acted like it was a personl loss when I informed her that I was checking out on Nov, 22nd. She had thought that I moving to another hotel next door, but I was departing to the USA. I chose this hotel for price and value, and I was completely enthralled.
