This apartment hotel is an ideal location. Steps from the metro and close to all major sights. There are fresh flowers in the lobby and they do fill the entrance with their aroma. You either like it or hate it but it was not an issue to us. The two bedroom apartment had very large rooms and a large living room where the 5 of us could stay together and played cards into the night. It was very nice to have this space separate from the bedrooms. The master bath was a separate room from the toilet, this was a odd arrangement for Americans. The kitchen and large frig was also nice. We kept drinks, juices and milk from a local market. The staff was very helpful and polite and made arrangements for us for transportation to and from the hotel. We spoke no French and this was never an issue. Pairs is expensive and this is no exception but probably much less than the Marriot two doors down. Whole family had a great time and we will stay here again when in Paris...

Visited with 4 other friends (4 rooms total) from 07SEP-12SEP2009. The rooms are large and are equiped with small kitchenettes- we did some shopping for food and drinks so this came in handy. The bathrooms were a nice size too, fairly large for Europe. All of our rooms opened up onto a beautiful courtyard. We all had a great time there, but this is NOT a 4 star hotel be any means. We paid more than $* for tghe rooms-not worth it. If you are going to saty in Paris, find some hotel off the main street. enjoy your quiet time and save a ton of cash.

Great location and staff. Horrible furnishings. Broken couch and chair. Broken shower head. Broken door on frig. Asked many times for a couch that was not broken. After 5 nights, no help. They cater to the full price customers. I do not recommend this hotel!!!!!!! The business center never worked. Had to buyinternet time at 30 euros when I needed only simple access. Even the elevator broke down. No notification unti I amde a call after 15 minutes. Had to carry out own luggage for 7 Am departure. Only one staff on duty. You are on your own. The owners need to fund the essential improvements. They are doing this on the cheap except for the top customers.

We arrived on sunday. Spent 3 hours waiting for our apt. It has a broken torn sofa in the living room, Worn torn chairs in living room, Kitchen door hanging off refrigerator unit. Bedroom very small no television. Bathroom mold on shower curtain, mold on tub, shower head missing screw, holes in the wall. Hallway peeling plaster. The picture must be of another apt. The Lobby and communal patio are very nice 4 star. This apt 2or 3 star. We leave on friday July 3rd 2009. I expected thousands of dollars for 5 days would mean luxury. I was wrong. Today is tuesday I have reported all the above problems to mgmt. New shower curtain, slight repair of frige door, repair of bathroom can,2nd lamp in bedroom.

The Claridge is a fantastic place to stay. Being located right on the Champs Elysees is perfect. Metro stops are less than a five minute walk in either direction. The rooms (actually a one bedroom apartment) were beautiful, spacious and clean. The hotel staff was phemomenal. Always will Even though there was a discrepancy with our booking ,Travelocity failed to send them anything, they quickly resolved the issue and had us checked in. I am really glad I remembered to bring a copy of our booking/reservation confirmation. This made it a lot easier for the hotel. The Claridge Hotel is definetly worth the price and we plan to make future trips to Paris based on their room availabilities.
