Stayed here in October and November of 2010. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was great. Within walking distance to everything I wanted to go to. Stayed as a single woman and never felt worried about security. Staff couldn't be more helpful.

We stayed here on Friday 2/26/10 because a conference was being held there. Our plan was to stay the whole weekend.The room was dark and tired, although clean, with limited refurbishments made in a half-hearted way and with a sickly sweet room freshener applied with too heavy a hand. The occupant above us marched back and forth all night and it seemed like they would come through the ceiling any moment because it was so thin. A rowdy fraternity party went on outside at the pool area past 3am and the hotel staff did nothing to protect the comfort of the rest of the guests by breaking up the noisy gathering. We were so exhausted that we headed for home a day early. It looks quaint and charming from the outside with nice amenities like the pool, but is very deceptive within! On the other hand, the Conference Center was very nice although there was not enough parking for the attendees as well as the hotel guests.

The room was fine and the pool area very nice but the continental breakfast was pretty dismal. I stayed 2 years ago at the Best Western and they had a great breakfast. I don't call sorry looking kolaches, oranges, 1 apple (not refilled while I was there), cold cereal and bread an adequate breakfast.

IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE WEBSITE. LOOKED MORE LIKE A CHEAP MOTEL THAN THE BEAUTIFUL SUITE WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO.THE STAFF WAS NOT VERY INFORMATIVE. WE CALLED THE FRONT DESK TWICE AND THE PHONE LITERALLY RANG FOR 3 MINS. BEFORE THEY ANSWERED. THE FIRST TIME WE CALLED THERE WAS NO ANSWER AT ALL. THE BEDS WERE HARD AS ROCKS AND WE COULD FEEL THE SPRINGS! THERE ARE A FEW OTHER PLACE NEAR THAT LOOKED NICE. WE DEFINITLEY WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN.

Great motel!!! Our overall experience at the motel was wonderful - we'll definitely stay there again! The staff was so great. Helpful with all questions, gave great directions to all our sightseeing activiites and recommended wonderful restaurants. The rooms were older but clean and nice. Every room had a microwave and refrigerator in it - great when you have kids! The best part of the motel - the pool area. 2 great pools, one with a slide. A covered area with a big screen tv and fire in the fireplace. They even sell s'more kits and kids can make s'mores in the fire - my daughter loved that. It was just a great experience all around! And all this at a very reasonable price. Again - wonderful experience!
