So much so by themid 60s people were coming from all over the world to visitjack and indulge in the areas extraordinary allure.whilesome of those visitors May have thought the word resort wasrather grand for six simple cabins jacks dreams were muchlarger. Once the highway opened and more people beganvisiting the area jack planned to build a facility whichwould live up to the scale of the naturalsurroundings.today the freestone inn early winter cabinsand lakeside lodges keep this spirit alive. The 15 early winter cabins are tucked away in aforested area to the southwest of the freestone inn andrange in size from a quaint studio to a roomy two bedroomcabin with kitchenettes. The 5 lakeside lodges overlook ourcatch and release fly fishing lake. The lakeside lodgesrange in size from a single story two bedroom house 3single or two story three bedroom houses to a single storyfive bedroom house.
