We found this property perfect for my wife & I for a 4 night getaway. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. The property itself offered all we needed in terms of pools & beach. The room was spacious & well kept. The buffets had a wide variety of food that was very good. The only less than positive aspects of the trip, which I would stress as minimal, were the theme restaurants. The Indian restaurant was unexciting; the Merxican restaurant was disastrous-the food took forever and was less than satisfying. We decided not to try the other theme restaurants; instead we returned to the buffet for dinner, which was great. The nightime entertainment was mediocre. Much of the entertainment conisted of audience involvement, which gets old very quickly. But, again, these are minor complaints compared to the positive aspects of the property.

We stayed at Grand Palladium in March 2009. The resort is beautiful but too big and not intimate enough.. We have stayed at Couples and at Sandals resorts before and wouldnt even try to compare it to those. The rooms are fantastic and clean stocked. We did have a problem with the drain in our shower but the rest was OK. All the restaurants were fantastic! We have been to Jamaica 18 times and have never had a bad meal period and this place is no exception. The only complaint was the only place we could get any top shelf drinks was upstairs at a small bar. They didnt even serve RED STRIPE at the regular bars. They had their own label which I didnt care for at all. We enjoyed the fitness and spa areas and the beach area. I emailed the resort before we arrived and requested certain buildings which were close to the action and we were able to get our choice. It was close to everything. It was a good experience but wouldnt go back there again because we have no children and prefer to go to adult only resorts. This would be a great place for families though.

My girlfriend and I stayed there for about 12 days in the summer of 2010. The food was really good better than I thought there would be and you can more than likely find anything you would want most of it freshly cooked. The service was great and the people were always nice and friendly with you. Rooms are great too throw the guy who stocks your fridge a few bucks a day and hell pack your fridge with Red stripe daily. The beaches were really nice too I would suggest the adult beach #40clothing optional#41 as its the most private beach. Lots of pools and some really great options on going off the resort. Id recommend this over being at the 7 mile beach as we traveled there for a day and could not walk more than 10 feet on the beach without being hounded by someone to buy something couldnt even enjoy it. A friend of mine just came back from negril too and also said how annoyed she was at the nagging at the beach. Overall Id definitely go back. I feel I have some moderate to high standards of things and this place was amazing. We only experience about 40 the resort had to offer being that it was so big and so much to do. Also very safe as the whole resort is gated.

My husband & I wed at the Grand Palladium Jamaica this November. Unfortunately, we had a litany of issues with the Wedding Planning Department so this review is more of a warning for those brides/couples that are contemplating having their wedding at this resort. Here are the highlights: *We had 4 different wedding planners. When the 3rd planner left they neglected to notify us so we went without a planner for several weeks before we complained to management and were assigned a new planner. This happened 2 months before the wedding. *It was agreed that our guests would receive an itinerary inside their hotel group at check it. This was suppose to be coordinated by the planner. But she neglected to share the guest list with the reception desk. *On the morning of the wedding, I entered the wedding office to find that not only the floral requests were wrong (e.g. they had 4 sets of white roses instead of 1 set of 6 roses, the wrong groom boutineere flower) but that sections of my bouquet were wilted/brown. * The photographers were late because the wedding dept. neglected to give them the groom's room number. This also delayed the ceremony. * The soup was inedible and didn't match the description that the resort had provided (e.g. it came without the bammy bread & goat). In addition, the salad had no goat cheese as described. * The cocktail hour appetizers were cold and none of items were labeled. * The escort cards were placed on the dining tables (instead of on a seperate table as agreed) so our guests had to walk around to each of the tables to find where they were seated. Please save your time & money and go elsewhere...

First stayed at this resort in 2008, a few month after it had opened and was left with good memories, but not great ones. The 2nd visit to this resort exactly 2 years later was much better. The reception was warm, positive and quick. We were even given V.I.P. bands for being return guest, which ment no lines, no waiting, no need for reservations at the a la'carte restaurants and all excellent service. Our building was close to the main building so getting around was easy and convient. Our room was on the 3rd floor (no evevators!), so with the heat, humitity and stairs we got our cardio several times a day. The resort was beautiful, the secenery from the resort was beautiful and the weather was to die for. The food in the a la carte resteruants and the buffets was good and satisfying. The disco was a lot of fun, but that D.J. ?!@?!*?#? All in all everything was wonderful and we look foward to returning some day soon.
