The hotel was remodeling so you have to expect some issues. My daughter and I went to a Ranger game, the shuttle was running late so the manager got his car and drove us right to the stadium. The staff was great. Free breakfast was ok, IHOP is in the same parking lot but we went with the free breakfast. Hotel is close to everything in Arlington and Grand Prairie. The room was ok, didn't get real cool but not bad. My daughter loved the swimming pool. I would stay there again. Also, the free WiFi was nice, very fast.

12/02/2009The hotel was clean, the staff was fantastic and friendly, close to the stadium, fort worth, and lots to do. shuttle service provided was great! going back here next year !!

This is a Category 1 Hotel (not sure if it's like this year-round or just in the off season), so the rewards value for hhonors members is tremendous. I was a little leary of staying in a category 1 hotel but I'm glad we did. I travel frequently for both business and personal and though I would not rank this hotel at the top, the room was clean, comfortable, and worth the money. I think the average traveler with a small comparison base would love this hotel. The hotel also has an almost perfect location near both DFW and Six Flags. The only bad thing is that all of the smoking rooms are on the 3rd floor. The 4th and top floor is all non-smoking but the room below us on 3 had smokers and the smoke drifted through the bathroom vents and engulfed our room. The staff moved us to the same room 2 floors down on the 2nd and everything was fine. Lesson here is that Hampton Inn needs to put smokers on the top floor or travelers need to request 2nd floor rooms. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, typical for Hampton Inn. I would stay here again even without using rewards points. The price is still well worth it.

Great Value for the price! Staff very friendly, lady who serves breakfast very nice! The guy in the front desk is also very nice making sure we had everything we need it to have a comfortable night sleep, he even call the room to make sure we like it!
