The Hampton Inn Brattleboro far exceeded my expectations. The hotel was very clean and the staff were professional. The room had free wireless and wired high speed internet. Beds were comfortable, and the staff was prompt and friendly. The free breakfast also exceeded my expectations, they had a selection of hot items and fruit in addition to the traditional continental breakfast items. Very convenient to highway and to ski resorts. I will be staying here again next season, I highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here before and judged the facility "ok." I now have reservations for March and have received multiple snipits of information re: the reservation. First they had it, then a letter from Hilton said they were no longer affiliated, staff knew nothing re: this although we were told to "call immediately." Next tried to cancel reservation and "sleeping" front desk stay answered the phone at 6:00 a.m. and didn't even know what time it was. Called again and was told "There is no reservation for you in our computer on any of the nights you are confirming for," then received a confirmation from Hilton for that same reservation. This morning I changed the reservation (figured I still had it, so I might as well book it correctly) and then called to confirm w/front desk? You guessed it......the reservation was never cancelled by "sleepy Joe" that took my first call. It will be interesting to see if I have a bed or not?

The bed was so bad my partner and I had pain in the back. The bathroom had a bad smell. The reception were rarely there and poorly welcoming. The alarm was still on so we woke early. Cleanliness has to improve. The second day the fire alarm woke us up for a burning toast!!! And last forever. Nobody told us we can go back to our room.

Called ahead on arrival day to indicate we would be late and to ask for 2 extra pillows. Was told that there ""were none"". Asked to assure that there would be at least 4--2 for each of us. When we arrived-found only 3. Complained and told there were ""no more available"". Complained on the way out and was told manager would be informed. No offer of compensation was made and no apology or explanation given. Customer service is non-existent.
