  Stayed here for two nights in Aug., 2009. On the morning of the second day, the duvet slipped out of its cover. The duvet had two large urine spots on it. Notified the front desk, and asked to speak to manager. After an hours wait, and another call to the front des, we were informed the manager was not "on site" and would phone our room upon arrival. Manager called after we asked a Housekeeper about the duvet. We were credited one nights stay. We were unable to find another room in another hotel, and had to stay another night. We were not credited the second night even though we had nowhere else to stay. I felt the whole incident was handled very poorly.

  Staff was very rude treated me like they could care less for my business. The worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. Will look into other hotels in the area when coming back to Elizabeth City. The room was ok but the bed was bad very lumpy, shower drained real slow, saw a roach in room.

  My daughter was registering for classes and hampton inn was a familar face; i choose the hotel from the website site and hilton chain has a great room guarantee.

  The beds in this hotel were excellent. the pool area was very nice also. they need to work on the breakfast selection it was very poor.
