Our family really enjoyed our stay here and it was a great value for the price. The staff was courteous and accommodating, the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable , and the kids loved the complimentary hot breakfast. We also liked the quiet location on the edge of downtown Grand Junction and the covered parking.

The Hampton Inn is in the old downtown section of Grand Junction, right next to the convention center. Nice, modern property - large rooms, comfortable beds, everything clean and good smelling. There are a number of good restaurants just down the street - easy walking distance of a few blocks. There is a 'City Market' supermarket across the street that has a Starbucks located inside. Overall, this is a nice and very conveniently located property whether you are travelling or going to a conference at the convention center. The free hot breakfast was a little weak, but that is really the only small quibble with our stay.

I had a reservation for a few months and have stayed in this hotel many times with my dog. When I made my online reservation, the Hampton website said "Pets Allowed". Then when I checked in, I was denied my room because of my dog (a mini dachshund no less). I explained everything and was still not allowed in. We stayed next door at the Hawthorne Suites and it was much nicer (and pet friendly). They use real china for the delicious hot breakfast buffet, not paper products like Hampton. Breakfast was much better too! Oh, this was all on a Saturday night, the busiest night around. Won't stay again.
