  This property was a lucky find. I booked the room based on the fact that it was close to the train station and I knew we'd be arriving after midnight and wouldn't want to have to go far. What a delight for this to turn out to be such a nice property! It was an absolute haven for us at the end of a particularly unpleasant train trip. The front desk staff were so helpful, both at check-in and with directions the next morning. The room was very comfortable. The 2nd-floor breakfast area was a real pleasure, with many windows providing lots of light and intriguing street views. The business center was well above average. We loved the location, and were able to walk to our destination ;Indiana Repertory Theater; and everything else we needed on this particular trip. If there's a negative to this property, it is the parking. Valet parking is the only option. But that's not uncommon for an urban hotel, I guess, and they were prompt and polite, and not too terribly expensive. Overall, this was a real hit with our family.

  Stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown when I was in town to see Wicked at the Murat last week. What a nice hotel. It is so convenient to everything in downtown Indianapolis. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast area was very spacious and the staff was wonderful. I will definitely be back!
