Good Value Stay. If you're looking to save money, this might work out. The woman throwing up in the unit below me was not completely private. Walls are pretty thin. If there's a lot of people staying there, I would imagine you wouldn't get much sleep. Fortunately for me, I think the hotel was probably at about 25% capacity, so it was nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Redding is beautiful, and if you're on a tight budget, I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a King Suite with a jacuzzi tub. We enjoyed it very much. They supplied bathrobes and large towels next to the tub. They also supplied razors, shaving gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste, a comb, as well as shampoo and lotion. We didn't use the shower but it looked nice. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. They had a flat screen TV with many channels to choose from. There was also a balcony that overlooked the swimming pool and hot tub with a table and chairs. The breakfast bar was a pretty typical bar with waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and I think it was heated. Some other people did use it. The room was quiet and comfortable. I will definately stay here again.

My wife and I stayed in a Vagabond in Sacramento and liked it. This Vagbond was far inferior, filthy, noisy, in a terrible neighborhood. The blankets had stains and were threadbare. The room was in general tattered and filthy. The pool wasn't even heated. At 3:00 AM garbage trucks created very loud noise and woke everybody up. Staff were indifferent. It was such a horrible experience I cut my trip short. It's cheap but still not worth it.
