Rooms were extremely spacious, clean, and well equipped. I stayed in a queen room with kitchen and it was the size of a small apartment with a sitting room, full kitchen, desk, etc. The staff was always extremely helpful, parking was underground and covered with a reasonable fee, breakfast was available, and my stay was very comfortable. The location of the hotel makes it easy to get where you need to be with easy connections to highways and main thoroughfares.

We made reservations for a non smoking room. Our room smelled of stale smoke, the ash trays were removed. The bathroom sink did not have hot water. They over charged my credit card for parking fees. They did not have cookies when we checked in like all of the other Hampton Inns did. The breakfast had dried over cooked scrambled eggs. This review is only for the Hampton Inn in Seattle. On our trip the others were all great and up to standard.

This was our second stay at the Hampton Inn Seattle. We were dropped off at 11:00am on a Friday morning. Our intention was to have the hotel store our bags and we would check in later that day. We were very happy to learn that they had a room ready for us right then. The desk clerk, who couldn't have been nicer, even placed us in a room that was away from the street. As usual with Hampton Inns the room was very clean, and modernly decorated. The bed was fantastic! We really like the location of this hotel. It's a 5-7 minute walk from the Space Needle and also the monorail which takes you right downtown. It is also one block from a 24 hour a day supermarket. This was very convenient for us as we were able to pick up supplies for a cruise we were embarking on beginning on Sunday. Another thing that we liked was that the hotel has four computers (two in the lobby, and two in their business center) for their guests to use. It was nice to be able to use the internet without a fee. The only negative for us is that the hotel doesn't have a pool or a jacuzzi. In conclusion, if you're looking for a nice hotel in a good location, choose the Hampton Inn Downtown Seattle.

Unrequested "upgrade" to a suite in sore need of renovating -- old, loud a/c only worked in bedroom, deck door blinds broken, deck was filthy, bedroom so small unable to get around King bed, only one bedside had a table. Room received halfhearted cleaning -- no new soap or other amenities provided, even though we needed and requested them. Did not receive complimentary newspaper until last of three mornings, despite request for it. I let the hotel chain know how disappointed we were and never received a response.

Had a two bedroom suite with a view of the space needle. Awsome room! Did not hear any noises from other rooms; but did hear street noises, but was in a city, so expected. Walking distance to monorail and space needle. Beds were heavenly
