We had a 6AM flight at Reno and wanted a quiet, unpretentious property near the airport with reliable shuttle service. Arrived around 4PM - quick;y checked in. Advised the desk agent that would be returning our rental car at the airport that evening - would need to be picked up - and then would need a ride around 4:15AM to the airport. Got a quick, can do response. Once in the room noticed that the toilet wouild not shut off - else all was fully acceptable. Spent a few hours at the Atlantis, then to the airport, returned the rental and called for pickup. Driver arrived in less than 10 minutes. At the lobby, advised the agent of the toilet issue. Was offered a different room. This worked as we had unpacked nothing. Timely wake up call in the morning and an uneventful shuttle to the airport. All that for $* thanks to the travel agency. Who could ask for more?

Lots of space and comfort in the 2 queen room. Nice furniture. Great deal for the price. Neighborhood did not have any convenience shops nearby. Not inviting to walk anywhere but good place to sleep. Breakfast was included although nobody said anything when we checked in so we missed it! Had convenient elevator.

Finding the hotel was not easy as the street listed as its address is a minor cross street in an industrial area. Not where one wuuld necessarily be looking for a hotel. It is located one block South of the main exit road, tucked away behind some warehouses. We drove past it once, then got locked in a vicious circle owing to raised medians that don't readiy allow for an imediate left turn. The blocks don't connect all the way through, so a minor bit of creative industrial park driving is required, that is if you want ot avoid driving several blocks out of your way to make a full circle. Once there, are two different hotel suites that are identical, and confusing. The Hawthorn's pool is sepeerated from the hotel by an access road between the two hotels, but is butted aginst the other hotel. It looks as if it is part of the adjacent hotel, but actually belongs to Hawthorn. We were given a ground floor suite. It was clean, smelled of fresh paint and felt more like a colleege dorm that a hotel. Acess to the hall was from the stree, had heavy steel doors and again felt more like a college dorm. The room looked a felt clean. rather spartan, funcctional and met our intended purpose; sleeping. The beds were GREAT. That was unexpected. the bath room was small but very clean and practical. The sink was seperate from the toilet and shower. The T.V. was very nice 30+ in ch flat scree with good channel seelection. there was not coffee in the room but there was a clean and functioning refrigerater, sink and counter space. We asked for a roll-away bed and it was there right away.

Up to Reno for an anniversary....We LOVE this hotel, the staff was great the breakfast was great, bed was comfy and the wet bar made it so that we didn't have to eat out if we didn't want to....They have a shuttle that will take you everywhere all day and all night....They took us to the car museum and then to dinner.....We will be staying here again, it was much better than the big casino we stayed in the last time....

This hotel is close to the airport - what we were looking for. It was rated 3 star but I think not. Rug in room was filthy - looked good but don't walk in your bare feet. Pool was advertised as heated but was not. Spa was under repair. Location was off a main street (Mill) in a questionable local. The price was OK but you could stay in a casino for a lot better deal.
