We were in the area for a funeral. The "suite" was fabulous. The happy hour food was enough for a meal and the breakfast was great. ....which helped on our tight schedule. Hurried travelers.

I stayed here on March3, 2010. The hotel had only been open for two months prior to my stay. I must compliment Holiday Inn on the exceptional attention to detail. Everything was beautfully designed. Gorgeous light fixtures. Flat screen swivel TV's. Granite bathroom counters. Entry-hall light switch also on the wall by the bed! Comfortable chair and ottoman. Nice bedding. The first hotel I've seen where the art was visible from the bed, rather than on the wall above it. I was told the walls were built with sound-proofing. I did not hear any other guests. I encountered four staff members, all quite friendly and adept at their jobs. XYZ checked me in--she was a delight. ABC was the breakfast chef. She brought my toast to me when it popped out of the toaster! Holiday Inn has hit a home run with this new facility. The only concern for some travelers (as evidenced by a woman in the lobby reviewing restaurant information), is that it's not close to eateries. Restaurants are a mile or more away.
