Our room was clean and quiet; staff were friendly and efficient despite our late arrival time. This hotel appears to have been a Holidome conversion, probably in the 70's, but is reasonably well-maintained. The pool looked very inviting. Most rooms open onto pool area, which could be a problem if there were a lot of children using the pool (though there weren't when we were there). A good value for the money.

This hotel has large meeting facilities so is popular from that standpoint. The staff is friendly, and there is a bar & restaurant that are OK. However, the place is older (it started as a Holiday Inn Holidome, I believe) and maintenance is "iffy". My room was decorated nicely but there was a hole in the carpet that appeared to have been caused by some chemical spilled on it. The hole was clear through to the concrete floor underneath. The shower head had green corrosion on it and apparently this hotel hasn't bothered to replace the straight shower curtain bars with newer curved ones. Therefore you are trying to shower while fighting off a wet, cold, clammy shower curtain (if you've ever experienced it you'll know what I'm talking about). The shower soap was a chintzy little facial bar. So, unless you're staying here for the sheer convenience of being near a meeting, I'd recommend a the nearby Comfort Inn.

05/11/2007We were greeted promptly and with a smile. when we left we were asked how our visit was and was everything up to our expectations. the food is always good.
