I cannot say enough about this hotel and staff. We drove 10.5 hours and arrived in the middle of the night and they let us check in early without charging for another day so we could rest. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home. Hotel provided a convenient shuttle back and forth to Mall of America to make it easy for us out of towners. We were also able to end each day relaxing in the pool and whirlpool at the hotel which was very clean each time we went. Don't know if we will be back to Minnesota but we will definately stay at Hilton Garden Inn whenever available.

If you're just looking for a nice place to stay, then this hotel will do. But if your looking for a hotel that will make getting to and from Mall of America easy, this is not the hotel for you. The shuttle only runs every 2 1/2 hours, or 4 times a day. And when it does run it's packed. Our shuttle drivers always acted surprised that there were too many people than the shuttle could carry, despite the fact that all the families said they called the front desk to let them know how many were in their party. Also the shuttle is shared with the two near by hotels, which also lead to crowding and confusion. There were two times when people were left behind at the mall at night and they had to wait for the shuttle to return for them. Also there were two times when we were being picked up at the hotel when the bus driver loaded the shuttle, realized there were too many people, had every one get off and then went back for a bigger shuttle. One of the most frustrating pick ups was the evening. The pick up times were 6:30 and 9:45 pm. That made planning for dinner difficult. There are no restuarants near the hotel, only the one in the hotel. We didn't eat there. On our last night we finally paid a cab to take us back the hotel, because we were done shopping and eating at 7:30. The cab costs $20.00.

The hotel was a great place to stay. The beds was very comfortable!! The location was good too not too far from the mall of America but far enough you didn't get disturbed by the airport. The front desk had directions for all the attractions we wanted to visit. Easy check in and easy check out. I ended my stay one day early and had no problems with doing so. Great breakfast buffet in the morning and the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner was good, alittle expensive but the conveniece was well worth it!! The kids loved the pool and the hot tub was awesome an very relaxing!!! Would stay again!!!

We picked this hotel for location (close to relative's home) and price when we were in MN for a Christmas week stay. We were absolutely delighted to find that it was far more. The hotel has a spacious lobby which was beautifully decorated for the holidays during our visit. Cozy chairs and sofa surrounded a lovely a fireplace. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate was available in the lobby as well. Our room was lovely - comfortable and clean. I loved the large and soft towels. The microwave and small refrigerator also came in handy during our stay. We used the pool, hot tub and fitness room during our stay and found them all clean and in good working order. The staff was very friendly. We thought this hotel was certainly in the same calibar as some much higher priced hotels. We will definitely stay here when we returned to MN for a visit.

This hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, but it has beautiful rooms. I was sorry that I was only staying for one night and for such a short amount of time. I loved the plasma TV and the microwave and frig in the room. However, I did stay on a Saturday night before a Vikings game and there were some very noisy people on our floor partying before the game. The bed was nice and comfortable and it was adjustable to your preference as far as firmness.
