Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The room was spacious, well furnished and clean. The pool and patio area are large and attractive. The restaurant had a good selection for both dinner and breakfast, including a breakfast buffet, and the food was very good. Nice bar and lounge for happy hour. I would stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a quick getaway. The location was great; walking distance to restaurants and activities. The hotel was very accommodating. Anything I asked for they provided. The room was nice, clean and spacious with a nice view. Room service was delicious. I have no complaints. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as did my boyfriend who rarely leaves his apartment and can usually find a down side to things. The price was definitely the best of all; very deeply discounted.

We visited Palm Springs for a family wedding. Although the wedding was held at another hotel, the Hilton provided a family group rate for the first part of our stay; my wife and I booked the second part through web. The hotel is located 2 miles from the local airport, and two blocks from the heart of the downtown shopping and dining area. Joshua Tree National Park is within driving distance. The front desk had our reservations and was unfailingly courteous and helpful throughout our stays. Notwithstanding the outdoor heat (109+ degrees), the rooms were cool and comfortable. As with almost all modern construction, the walls were somewhat thinner than we would have liked, but noise from other guests was not a serious problem. The breakfast buffet was well done and a good deal; we did not have other meals at the hotel. There were a very welcome outdoor swimming pool and two smaller, heated pools of differing temperatures. Wired and wireless internet in the rooms (included in the daily "resort fee") were reasonably reliable and fast. We were pleased with our stay and would stay here again.

We stayed for three days in April 2010 and found the rooms large, nicely decorated and very clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the pool area is large with plenty of chairs (no need to get up at 7 am to reserve a spot). The hotel is less than two blocks from the center of the downtown area with a wide selction of enjoyable restaurants, some with live music, within a five minute walk. A very nice Casino is on the next block. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay there again.

Liked the hotel, location and amenities, especially for the price; however, the noise really got to me. The pool is enclosed by the hotel itself, and the noise reverberates all around causing it to intensify greatly. Saturday there was a pool party with a DJ that was so loud, many guest complained to the front desk, including me, as well as to the online travel website, it was that bad. Then during the week, the lawn mowers, edgers, leaf blowers and general maintenance machinery was so loud for hours on multiple days, that again, it was no pleasure to try and relax by the pool. Finally, on my last day of a 9 day stay, security confronted me for not having a pool wrist band, which had not been necessary the past 8 days, but somehow; I was supposed to know the rules changed. In order to get a wrist band, I had to sign a hotel document about no loud noise or other infractions while at the pool, yet for the one week prior, the hotel made no attempt to stop or address any of these issues. I just didn?t get it, so in the future, beware when you book, and ask if there are any large fraternity parties or DJs who will be there as well.
