My two teenagers and I decided to visit Six Flags over Texas, It was an awesome experience. We shopped for hotels through different sites and they were all about the same until i found "top secret" hotels by travel agency. We took a chance not knowing what was in store but for the price offered, we figured we could take that chance. It was amazing. We got a 4 star hotel for a 2 star hotel price. Holiday inn was very nice. staff was friendly and rooms were outstanding. We were initially assigned to a handicap room which was extremely nice but we felt we should do the right thing and get the room we had booked. To our surprise, it was just as good and then some. Great view, nice furniture, awesome fridge and flat screet tv's. We will definitely take the "top secret" rates based on our experience again.

As soon as we walked through the doors we were greeted with a friendly "Hello." The staff was always pleasant and very helpful. Room was HUGE!! and very clean. The shower head was located up high, which is great for my 6'4" husband. He didn't have to duck! Only 2 complaints. We were next to the elevator, couldn't hear much from other guest but the doors would ding ALL THE TIME! Is the ding even necessary?!?! The restaurant speed. There was only 1 other family there when we went in, but the food took FOREVER! (45 mins. for a burger and pasta) Though the waiter was friendly and it all tasted great. We will stay again though :)

We stayed here while we went to Hurricane Harbor & Six Flags. Very convient to take the trolley everyday, saved alot on parking! The only problem I had with the hotel was the first room we were put in had a cricket problem. I don't like bugs and I defintely don't like bugs in my bed!!!!! We were finally moved to another room for the last night of our stay, wish it would have been sooner. Also, there was absolutley no hot water in the shower in either room. Other than that, rooms were great, staff was great and helpful!

We stayed in a king suite during spring break 2010 and it was great. Plenty of room. It was my husband and I and 3 children. Two 11 year olds and one 4 year old. We booked the room through *. Super simple. When we arrived I just showed the front desk my ID and credit card. Then off to our room. Super simple again. We all loved the room. There was a large flat screen tv in the room where the bed was. And did I mention that the bed was soooo comfortable? OMG it was, as were the pillows which were labeled firm and soft. There was not a TV in the liv. room, which we knew ahead of time, so we brought a portable TV for the kids to watch VHS and DVD'S on. The living room had a queen size or full pull out couch which the kids slept on. The swimming pool and exercise room were both great. The swimming pool was warm and the hot tub was hot. We went there every evening after walking around six flags all day. We all crashed hard when we got back to the room. The workout room was large with flat screens around the room . Although I brought my bicycle and road around the new DC football stadium and the Richard Greene Linear Park which had beautiful biking/walking trails. Also rode by the Texas Ranger Stadium and Six Flags. I am so looking forward to a return visit! I forgot to mention the sports grill. We all loved the food. And the kids had a blast playing pool and they also had a Wii set up on one of the flatscreens.
