  My wife and I stayed here one night after arriving late (10:30 pm) into the DC area by car. We were exhausted from a long drive or would've stayed somewhere else. I really picked Holiday Inn because I am a priority club member and have had moderate success staying at Holiday Inns in the past. This place of very pricey for the Motel 6 type room that we had. It was also raining that night and the check in clerk gave us a room on the second floor. Then, where I asked where the elevator was, she informed me there was none. So, the wife and I had to manhandle our bags out of the car, in the rain and use an entrance that wasn't attached to the lobby and up the stairs. Did I mention we were already exhausted and it was raining. The girl at that late check in was sorry, but went on about her business.

  On a recent business trip to Frederick, I stayed at a different H.I., in which the only thing I can say is; my stay was a complete disappointment. Upon checking into the Holiday Inn Express, for the remaining portion of my trip, I had decided that I was smarter for making this decision.The bed & pillows were comfortable. The room was clean & it was cleaned whenever I requested. I had been given the room that I requested and I had left the hotel with a positive experience & smile. I will return for business & leisurely activities. Thanks
