  We decided to take a break on our 4 hour drive home from Reno and enjoy a night in Auburn. Great place to stay. Right from the start we had a friendly desk clerk. He was great! The room was fresh up-to-date and clean-clean-clean. Just what we needed after our experience the night before at an upscale hotel in Reno. It was definitely kid friendly.. a young soccer team was in the house and enjoying the -clean- heated pool. Single serving coffee maker;in real mugs;, and of course bath and body works toiletries. Although the freeway is nearby, I didn't notice any road noise. We didn't have time for breakfast the next morning in the restaurant because we slept in ;must have been the comfortable mattress and stacks of pillows;. On the way out we filled our cups with crystal clear ice from the icemaker before we headed home in the heat through Sacramento. I would definitely stay here again.

  Very nice, clean, well run motel. attentive staff. restaurant and bar in hotel. pool is not fancy, but well kept. right next to interstate 80 (no noise, but easy access). ...

  Very nice, clean, well run motel. Attentive staff. Restaurant and bar in hotel. Pool is not fancy, but well kept. Right next to Interstate 80 (no noise, but easy access). Nice front desk staff. Price seemed high, but it is CA.

  The staff was pleasant, the hotel & room was clean and the restaurant in the hotel was good and has a nice little bar. but the price was a bit high ...

  The staff was pleasant, the hotel & room was clean and the restaurant in the hotel was good and has a nice little bar. But the price was a bit high for a Holiday Inn.
