Won't stay again alot changed in a couple of years!

I wrote the previous review saying that this hotel was wonderful. This is when it first opened. Since then they have installed motion srnsors that turn off the air conditioning when it no longer detects motion. We told the front desk that this was rediculous and they didn't have a response. We had to wave our pillow in the air in the middle of the night to get the air to come back on. It was 95 degrees out side and we could not stand the hot room. Also do not stay in the Stonewall Jackson suite. The automatic front door is under this room. It opens and closes all day and night and makes alot of noise. I couldn't wait to get home and get some peascefull sleep. I also found the same problem with the front door at another Holiday Inn. You may want to keep this in mind when booking at this hotel chain!

This hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The bedding is first class. I will stay at this hotel next time I am in the area and I am very picky when it comes to hotels. There are also places to eat within walking distance.

This hotel is simply over the top with it's suttle touches throughout the lobby and rooms. My son LOVED the Rubber Ducky in the bath! The lobby even has stars on the ceiling which chage colors! How cool is that! Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Thanks!!!!!
