While nothing to write home about (not that I have great expectations from a Holiday Inn Express), we enjoyed our one-week stay here. The housekeeping service was good, the entire hotel staff was very friendly, and the pool was fun and warm. The complimentary breakfast was on the bad side of "meh," but there are good staples and it wasn't disgusting. Parking was plentiful, but if your room isn't close to the main doors at the west end of the building, make sure to get a luggage rack.

This is a well kept hotel within 20 minutes of most Fort Myers attractions. Keep in mind there's a $* toll to cross into Cape Coral from the east. Good breakfast variety except their only fruit was bananas. Free wireless throughout the hotel! Plenty of parking. Perkins is only 50 feet from the hotel entrance and Wendy's is across the street. Our favorite was the Monkey Bar, about 1/2 block away. It's a steakhouse/bar & grill with excellent burgers and grouper sandwiches, reasonable prices, live music and great happy hour. Their full menu is online. Overall, it was a good hotel experience. It's a Holiday Inn Express, so we weren't expecting the Four Seasons, but we got comfortable beds, friendly staff, free newspapers if you get up early enough and a big pool that ends up in the shade in the afternoon since it's on the east side of the hotel.

Newly renovated. Roomy, comfy beds, nice HD TV, big bathroom. Comfy thick towels. Thick walls -- so we didn't wake up our family next door when we came in at 11PM. Very satisfactory -- will keep using this hotel when we visit Cape Coral.

Decent sized clean room at a reasonable price. It was conveniently located for us as we were closing on our new house in Cape Coral. Good restaurant directly behind the hotel was recommended by desk clerk. Only problem was asked for late checkout the night before and came back to find ourselves locked out of room! Friendly staff was very accomodating.
