I arrived late around 7pm and had to wait 20 min before someone came to the desk to check me in. I was staying there for opening day for hunting and guy at the counter was telling the other hunters when our wake up call was so they could get the drop on us. (PS Never Got A Wake Up Call) Then I was Double billed for the room and after a month of fighting for my money I still have not received a refund. I was told that it is my responsibility to take care of it. From now on I will no longer stay at Holiday Inn or any of there Chains.

Room 203 (north side of hotel) was rated "Bad" due to objectionable vibration Noise emanating into our room "through the wall" that would have interfered with our sleep if we hadn't kept the Air Conditioner running constantly. The Noise would cycle on & off and my wife and I traced its source to a series of (3) 4-inch PVC air intake pipes (with wire mesh screens) protruding from the outside wall at a spot near the floor of our room and to the lower right while looking out our window. On the inside of the building these PVC pipes corresponded to the "Mechanical Room" and -- as indicated by (3) matching 4-inch, but much longer PVC exhaust pipes also outside -- this evidently was an intake/exhaust system for some sort of high-efficiency (condensing type) gas-fired furnace (pool heater possibly?). As an engineer, I explained this to the front desk, but the gentleman there appeared nonplused and was disinclined to have anyone investigate or fix this problem.

First time staying in this location as I grew up in this town and came back for a quiet weekend and Family reuinion. Wonderful staff, were very accommadating. Pool was excellent. Had a very enjoyable time.
