  We found this hotel with our gps. check-in was fine and the room was ok, but our stay was not the most pleasant thanks to a neighbor's late ...

  We found this hotel with our GPS. Check-in was fine and the room was OK, but our stay was not the most pleasant thanks to a neighbor's late night phone conversation and the lack of interest by staff. We were scolded for calling the wrong number when the front desk button rang reservations, and when we submitted a written complaint, it was shredded and tossed in the trash in front of us!

  I stayed there and thought the pricing was really great and the location was awesome because it was right in the middle of everything I needed to do that weekend. I thought the rooms smelled sort of weird, not a strong odor but sort of stale. The bed was huge, I booked the room with a king and the bed was so comfy! There was a huge roach in the bathroom. Didn't bother to tell the front desk because they were never up there and didn't feel like getting all worked up when I was supposed to be enjoying my weekend! But I know I will stay elsewhere, so in a sense they helped me big time by allowing me to find a much better hotel in Greenwood!

  Morning manager Rene was unwilling to ask staff about my jewelry that I forgot. I asked her if she would ask the staff if it had been turned in and she said ""I just did"". Never again will I stay at a Holiday Inn and I will continue to post comments on this page until I get a proper response from the Holiday Inn Corp.
