We came in town for Thanksgiving and decided to try to check in early (11:30am) and they had a room ready. The lady at the counter was very nice and helpful! Our room was beautiful, I really don't understand how this hotel only is a 2.5 star hotel! The breakfast was amazing. They had eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy! The entire staff was very polite! We have family in town so will will most definately stay here next time we come through!

We only needed a place to stay for the night. The problem was finding a hotel near the airport that would provide a ride to the airport early enough for a 6 am flight. We struggled to find a hotel that would accommodate. The Holiday Inn Express not only provided a paid cab, they also gave us a breakfast to go ( where we selected from a menu) at 4:45 AM. The room was very quiet,comfortable , linens clean, water hot. This was a very pleasant experience and made for better travel the next day. We were just a few minutes from the airport.

This Holiday Inn has done what I've seen in a couple of other hotels, unfortunately. They tamper with the AC to save themselves a dollar or so of electricity per night. Unfortunately when you play $* per night, what one really needs is a good night's sleep and the AC tampering left me and my family with a disturbed sleep for the whole night. Even though we put the fan on "low" instead of "auto", it would keep turning off, causing the room to get muggy. The fan would come on and off, approximately 50 times a night and our sleep was very fitful because of that. The hotel clerk said "they" put in a chip in these ACs so they won't overheat and blow up (yeah right). In the morning, I talked to him again and he confirmed that a couple of other hotel guests had the same complaint. He reluctantly agreed that the only reason to put a smart chip in these ACs is for the hotel to save a buck on electricity. But what a toll it takes on the guest!!!! I would rather pay them the * or even * dollars to cover the electricity cost and get some sleep. WHY ARE ACCOUNTANTS RUNNING THESE HOTELS? They should worry about customer service and not about their accountants. Everything else about the hotel (cleanliness, friendliness of staff, reasonably nice ambiance) was good. But I cannot stay here again because of the AC issue.

I travel to Medford/Central Point 2-3 times per month and have recently begun staying at this hotel. The hotel looks brand new and is very clean. The staff is excellent. The gal who checked me in was upbeat, energetic and made several suggestions for dinner. I held an interview in their boardroom. It suited my needs but I wouldn't use it for anything bigger than a small meeting or interview. Wireless internet was a little spotty, at first, but was taken care of by their help desk. Our company has restricted how much we can spend on travel which led me to this hotel. I will stay here, though, when they increase our per diem. Great hotel overall.

My family is on a road trip from Seattle to Phoenix and this was our first stop. It was convienently located off the freeway. The price was alright compared with other hotels in the area. We choose to stay at a holiday inn because we have always had great experiences before. The TV's went out right after we checked in and didn't come on the rest of our stay. We asked if there was anything they could do and they couldn't fix them, it was beyond their means. At check-out we asked for a discount or a coupon for a later stay and they jsut said sorry for the inconvienence. The customer service was poor and we expected more from the holiday inn. It gave their name a bad reputation in our names and we probably will pick another hotel next time.
