The room was nice and clean. It was a bigger room compared to most hotel rooms. We liked the computer hook up they had in the room. We stayed there for our son's graduation from Lackland. It was about a 15 minute drive to the base. It is about the same distance to the Alamo/Riverwalk area. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and recommending places to eat and visit. The breakfast was good - especially the cinnamon rolls they had every morning. There is an actual thermastat in each room to control the tempature. We stayed here for five nights. Our only complaint is that they mix smoking rooms with non smoking rooms going down the hallway and the hallway can become very smoke filled if you have a lot of smokers staying there. We would stay here again.

My wife and I wanted to stay in a convenient location that would allow us easy access to downtown San Antonio as well as the surrounding area, since we planned to take several day trips to nearby locations (Austin, Lockhart, even Galveston) during our 5-day stay. The very reasonable room rates and free parking were major factors in selecting this hotel, to say nothing of the free hot breakfast. The staff was extremely courteous, even relocating us without making a fuss to an alternate room when our original room had a minor maintenance problem. The rooms aren't flashy but offer all the basic needs with the possible exception of an in-room refrigerator. As it turned out we didn't really miss it as much as I originally thought we would. Overall, I'm very pleased and would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel for my son's graduation at Lackland AFB. It was a short drive to the base. The hotel was very nice and clean. Breakfast was provided every morning we were there and it had a nice variety of choices (scrambled eggs, biscuits, sauage, fruit, danishes, cereal, coffee, juices). This hotel is in a good location - close to a lot of shopping, movies. We had never been to SanAntonio before, and with our GPS we were able to go wherever we wanted without any problems. This hotel was a good choice for us because we made trips to the base every day, then we would travel downtown for sporting activites and the Riverwalk. Not a bad drive for fun.

We stayed at this hotel when our son was graduating from basic training at Lackland AFB. It was close enough to the base , so that was a plus. The hotel was clean, our room was clean. The staff was extremely nice (we stayed there a week), and the food was also good. There is a HUGE movie theater right next door, there is a decent restaraunt within walking distance as well. Only down side was pool is inside and heater is broken in there....cold! We are germaphobes right now, and with all the little kiddies in the pool anyway, we really weren't going to be in there, so not a big downer for us. Views are good, east access, and would recommend.
