Excellant stay at an extremely nice hotel. Centrally located minutes from the airport, downtown, and shopping. Easy access to areas we wanted to see. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Definitely recommend it to folks looking for a nice stay in Portland, ME.

Terrible all around. Room wasn't made up after being away 12 hrs, no fresh towels, no waste basket in bathroom, no facial tissue, sink was leaking, toilet clogged... We promised a refund and now the hotel says they don't know what we are talking about!! One of the worst experiences ever!

Large living room area is good for families, but all beds are doubles ;not queens;, so be prepared. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Although the room was advertised for up to six people, it only had 3 towels and 2 washclothes and no bedding for the sofabed. When the gentleman arrived from housekeeping with the additional items, he stood around waiting for a tip which I feel is ridiculous since the room should have been prepped for the appropriate number of people. Sink area is part of the bedroom, which is not my favorite set up. The buffet breakfast is a glorified continental offering with eggs and sausage, but nothing more. The pool never seemed to have enough towels available and is very chilly even though advertised as heated. Overall, a decent hotel, but I probably would not stay again with a family.

well we went out , only to come back to a room that had not been cleaned at all. The sheets on our bed from the night before had not been changed I know this because I had juice in bed that night ( red ) SOME HAD GOTTEN ON THE SHEETS. The floors had not been vacuum , or the trash cans , mirrors were cover with toothpaste you get the picture. Instead of just saying we are so sorry, the manger just gave us reasons why the maid had not clean the room.
