Stayed in September 2010. Room was nice and clean, but way over priced. My biggest complaint...for $* a night, could you please put at least one item of REAL food on the breakfast menu! I have never before seen a spread so full of crap...powdered eggs and rubbery bacon. The entire breakfast was just gross. Come on, treat your guests better than this.

Hotel was reasonably priced and easy access to newport. Our room was disappointing. The noise from water running in other rooms was very loud, as well as noise from people in rooms above and adjacent to us. The shower curtain had mold, we asked to have it changed and it wasn't. The mattress also needed to be replaced.

We brought our children to Newport on their school vacation. When deciding which hotel to stay, our focus was on the availability of pools and hot tubs. When we checked in at the hotel in the early afternoon, we noticed that the pool area was closed and a note on the door indicating that the pool was "closed temporarily for maintenance". The front desk told us that the pool would be open by 5pm. We went out to tour around town and came back early to enjoy the pool. Only to find the pool was still closed and we were told that no idea when the pool would be open again since they were waiting for a part. It was a huge disappointment since we chose the hotel mainly for its pool. We had wished that the hotel had told us the truth when we checked in so we would have had the choice to move to a different hotel. We have asked for compensations, but they refused.
