this hotel is on the far south side of town, on the very outskirts of lawrence. if you want a hotel near downtown or more centrally located, this is not the spot for you. there is walmart across the street, and the hotel itself is built on the parking lot of the only movie theater in town. target is close by, as well as ihop restaurant. but that's about it. most of lawrence is further north. of course, if this doesn't bother you than no problem. but you will definitely need to drive to get most other places. the pool is also very, very small! i've seen larger in residential backyards. definitely a one-family pool. unless you really want to get to know other guests. they are also pretty pricey compared to other hotels in lawrence. other than that no complaints.

This hotel is FANTASTIC!! The people were so helpful, the rooms were large and comfortable & the location was excellent. The beds were TO DIE FOR!! The hotel was absolutely gorgeous & you could tell all the furniture & everything had been redone recently. All sorts of great dining, shopping & entertainment within walking distance. HIGHLY recommend.
