WE HAD RESERVATIONS (WE CANCELLED!!) FOR OCT. 9-10TH 2010. MY HUSBAND, ALWAYS USES HIS MILITARY DISCOUNT, WHICH WE HAVE USED AT EVERY HOLIDAY INN WE STAYED AT, WITH NO PROBLEMS. FIRST, WHEN MY HUSBAND MADE THE RESERVATION WITH ****, HE SAID THERE WAS NO MILITARY DISCOUNTS. OK...SO WE BOOKED THE ROOM AT * PLUS TAX. I DECIDED TO CALL THE 1800 NUMBER JUST TO CHECK AND THEY TOLD ME THEY DID HAVE A DISCOUNT AT THIS HOTEL AND OUR PRICE WOULD BE * PLUS TAX. WE CALLED THE HOTEL BACK AND SPOKE TO **** WHO SAID SHE HAD TO CLEAR IT WITH HER MANAGER AND WOULD CALL US RIGHT BACK. WHEN SHE CALLED SHE SAID THAT SHE COULDNT GIVE US THE NEW RATE. AGAIN I CALLED THE * NUMBER AND RECEIVED ***** WHO SAID THAT THE MILITARY DISCOUNT RATE WOULD BE *!!! DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A DISCOUNT TO ANYONE?? THE GOOD NEWS IS...WE CALLED FAIRFIELD INN NEXT DOOR AND RECEIVED A KING JACUZZI ROOM FOR *AND NO HASSLES!!! READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING THIS CHOICE!

STAYED IN MAY AND WOULD NOT GO BACK. THE HOTEL ROOMS WERE EXTREMELY OUTDATED AND THE STAFF WAS NOT KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT THE AREA AT ALL. THERE WERE ALSO A FEW SMALL BUGS IN THE ROOM, AND THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

The location is good, rooms are ok. The staff needs to work on thier social skills. The staff has no clue on using their computer system. We were told to check the next morning to find out if they done our reservation correctl. When checking out the clerk was very rude. He would not let me finish explaining anything. The Manager was the same way. Sorry folks the rudeness will keep me away.

We thought the hotel was very nice. The staff was friendly, the room was immaculate! The breakfast was good--they said they just started this breakfast about a month ago. Had bisquits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, danish,etc. Good!

Staff and continental breakfast were satisfactory, however, this hotel is over priced and does not meet what I would expect to be Holiday Inn Express standards. There was no detergent machine available in the laundry, there was a complimentary computer available in the lobby but due to security restrictions was unable to access anything so was unable to check my email. Why they bother having it, I don't know. Stayed at another Holiday Inn Express a couple nights earlier and did not have any of these problems. The room also had a musty odor. Air conditioning unit quite loud. Would not recommend, keep driving.
