  We stayed @ this hotel in Dec 2010 and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Although we were a bit skeptical when we saw the outside as it was a pink hotel and didn't appear to be too appealing or updated. But as soon as we entered we found it was very clean and nice. The staff were super nice and very accommodating. Our room was very clean, smelled clean and modernly updated. There was free wi-fi, free breakfast that included eggs, sausage, danish, donuts, cereal and many more items. They had a washroom with a washer and dryer ( coin operated) and our room had a kitchenette with refrig, microwave, and sink. The bathroom was spotless and well stocked. And there was free parking. The location was perfect for Hollywood, Universal Studios and other attractions. We had just come from a luxury hotel in San Diego where we paid $* per day for parking, and had also stayed in a luxury hotel in Universal City previously where we paid $* per day for parking... and decided for the price, free amenities, staff and cleanliness of this hotel we would definitely choose this hotel for our next visit over the luxury hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples or families.

  Lady at the front desk was not helpful. even though we had reservations it took at least a half hour of unpleasent discussion before giving us the room we" ...

  Lady at the front desk was not helpful. Even though we had reservations it took at least a half hour of unpleasent discussion before giving us the room we"d already booked. Choosing this hotel was not a good way to end a great day.

  When our family arrived, there were no non-smoking rooms; then the toilet didn't flush and the phone did not work. however, all was fixed (except the smoke smell) ...

  When our family arrived, there were no non-smoking rooms; then the toilet didn't flush and the phone did not work. HOWEVER, all was fixed (except the smoke smell) promptly, and it was a fine stay. It was clean. Indoor pool very, very small and not inviting at all.
