The hotel was an interesting building. It contained a five floor building with interior rooms as well as a two story building attached via the indoor pool containing outdoor rooms. Please make sure you find out which you are reserving. I thought I was getting an inside room, but instead got a ground floor, exterior room on the back of the hotel-not the best location for a female traveling alone. The location was great-right on the Tennessee River. I'm sure the views from the higher floors were great. The hotel also had free wi-fi, though web site stated it did not-nice surprise. Though the part of the building I stayed in was quite dated on the outside, the room itself was clean, and well maintained. Despite being right off the highway and an exterior room, it was quiet and peaceful when I went to sleep. The room could have been colder. Usually hotel air conditioners freeze me out, this one however, never produced the chill I have come to expect despite being on the coldest setting. To be fair though, it was in the high 90s during my stay. I did experience a leak of some sort coming out of the wall under the sink when I woke up on check out morning. I reported it to the front desk, and assume it will be addressed.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 6 times in the last 10 years with my husband during conventions. This time I was very uncomfortable with the location of my room, because I was traveling alone with my 1 yr. old grandchild and we were put on the back end of the hotel with outside entrance to out room. I would not recommend that for a woman traveling by herself or because the price was so cheap. However the room was nice and clean but the traffic was loud from the road.

This hotel is not your normal Holiday Inn. It is run down and the rooms are small. I checked in and there was no air and no ice. The walkways and outside entrances were dirty and wide open for everyone to come in. Also, there were A LOT of local people in the pool area having birthday parties. It was more like a Super 8 hotel. I checked out immediately and went to a different hotel.

We decided to stay at the Holiday Inn while making a stop in the area to visit friends, after having spent a few days in Florida. We were treated like family from the moment we set foot in the door to the time we left. We had a great dinner in the hotel's restaurant, where the prices were affordable, the service was friendly, and the quality of the food was much better than what you would expect at a hotel. My kids loved the indoor pool and the video arcade game area as well.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was. On our way back from a trip to Michigan, we decided to stay at this property based on friend's suggestion. The staff at this property is the friendliest we have encountered in a long time. We were offered an upgrade to a suite when they saw the number of people traveling. The suite was well maintained and very clean. That evening we decided to eat in the hotel's dining room after having been in the car all day. The food was great, the service prompt, and the prices were extremely reasonable.
