  We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn - Convention Center in Overland Park, KS while attending my cousin's wedding. At this stage in our life it seems we are at someone's wedding every other weekend! This hotel did an amazing job! Everything went really smoothly from making our reservation to leaving on Sunday. They put everyone with the wedding on the same floor so we were able to move around the hallways visiting. The pool at this hotel is a little small but my kids loved swimming both indoors and outdoors and when the pool towels ran out they were quick to bring more. The biggest difference between this hotel and some of the others we have stayed in was the staff just made us feel like we were really welcome. Whatever we asked for they helped us with, from extra pillows to my daughter begging for chocolate chips and whipped cream on her pancakes. Staying at a hotel where we are made to feel like they really appreciated our business was a welcome change!
