Very clean and new, but very small rooms. My husband and I had to step over suitcases to get into the bed. Staff is very friendly but elevators take a long time, especially during peak check-in and check-out times. Subways are located closeby, so the location was convenient.

This hotel is in a great location and have fairly good rates available for a New York City hotel. The hotel seems as if it has gone through a recent renovation so the rooms overall are in great shape. Loved the location of this hotel as it is close to the subway and within walking distance to many shopping and dining areas and was also near by client offices, so this was also a great location for business travel. Would recommend this hotel to my friends and colleagues.

The Holiday was convently located in the center of manhatten. We found getting around in taxis or subway was easy from this location. My only set backs was with the housekeeping. We had stayed there for one week;7nights;. They did not vacuum the rooms, provide new hand or face soaps, shampoo. and short changed us on towels every day!!!!. Constantly having to call down to the lobby to have towels, bath items; toilet paper,soap etc.; delivered to the room. The elevator has to be the slowest one in NYC. Wasted plenty of time waiting on the elevator, got used to using the stairs.

We spent four nights at this hotel and couldn't have been happier. Check in was lightning fast. The room was bigger than I expected and more than perfect for four nights in NYC. The hotel was very clean and the bed linens were awesome ..... they even give you a choice of pillows -- soft or firm which I thought was a nice touch. I really like the fact that this hotel offers a free 24-hour business center. The location is great and the staff at this hotel are super friendly and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I visit New York City.
