I stayed for 4 nights at the Foour Points and the service was incredible. The staff was easy to work with, the amenities were comparable to higher end hotels, and the food was fantastic. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

40th anniversary ruined. We stayed for 6 nights. Filthy hotel when you get past the lobby. We have never seen such poor house keeping. Balcony room overlooking the ocean had no balcony furniture, and when we asked for furniture, we were told "security at the hotel no longer allows balcony furniture" We paid extra for a balcony, and we could only stand to use it. The maid only made the bed, and supplied whatever towels she felt like leaving. On 2 occasions no wash cloths, on another occasion, no hand towels. No clean glasses were left, and dust was everywhere. The room was not emptied of empty drink containers, and the ice bucket was not emptied of the water from melt. The balcony door and picture window were filthy, as were the carpets in the elevators. The stairwells were very dirty with windows that had not been cleaned for months. The restaurant was very expensive. We wished we had stayed at another location.

This was my first trip to Miami to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We both read the reviews before booking the hotel (half of which were bad), and we were still not sure whether we made the right choice. I have to say, that we were both pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our stay at the Four Points Sheraton. The hotel room was clean, overlooking the pool area and the beach. The location is perfect - right at the beach (a 2-minite walk from the hotel to the water!), and the beach area was clean and very pleasant. We also enjoyed the hotel pool area - lots of lounging chairs, a jacuzzi, and a couple of bars providing drinks and snacks. I was impressed by the staff as well. They gave us a complementary bottle of wine for my boyfriend's birthday. I don't remember the name of one of the concierge guys, but he was extremely helpful and honest with recommendations on dinning and places to visit. The next day (his day off), he saw us in the lobby and came to check whether we liked the place he recommended the night before. The restaurant at the hotel was also pretty good - we didn't have dinner there, but I did enjoy the breakfast buffet and their lunch menu. This is not a party place, but I would definitely recommend it to couples and families looking for a relaxing visit and a place to enjoy the ocean.
