My daughter and I stayed here in March 2009. The rooom was exceptionally clean, the linens were fresh (I especially loved the duvet because the cover was changable, NOT the same synthetic bedspread thrown back on the bed after the previous person that you often get at hotels). My daughter loved the pool area, and the restaurant that was attached was very convenient. Yes, it is not as close to shopping as some may like, but in Minot, it takes on a few minutes to get to your destination. The staff were friendly and helpful as well!

Due to flight delays, I was not able to check in until well after midnight. I & my traveling companions were very exhausted & so I was definitely in a foul mood. The front desk clerk was very understanding & very helpful. She moved our room frm the 6th floor to the 4th & placed us right next to each other because we were booked a hallway from each other. She recommended room service, which was a great idea because we had an early morning event to attend & I didn't want to be wondering what I was going to feed my 2 year old. Room service was efficient & very quick. I needed a glass of milk for my child before the rest of the food & a young woman came up quickly with it. I was very grateful for the service that I used room service for my breakfast meal every day we stayed there. Our rooms were always turned down, I never once had to ask for more toiletries or towels or anything elseI could think of. They even gave me an extra pillow w/o me having to ask because I had a child with me & it was already assumed I would need extra pillows to block her in the bed she slept in. We definitely enjoyed the water park in the pool. It's not too deep in water & so EVERY child can enjoy the park & not have to worry about falling in deep water. We loved that. All in all, if you can ignore some of the other guest who can be loud or obnoxious, your stay @ the Holiday Inn Riverside will be worth the time & money. We would definitely stay there again if we travel back to ND. Thank You.
