Stayed here in March without incident. Stay was average. Checked in again on July 5th (yes, 90 degrees). Spent the day at the beach and checked in at 4 pm. Went to our room on the seventh floor and unpacked. First thing we found was there was NO water. Next no air. Called the front desk and they told us everything would be working within the hour. Several hours later (9 pm), still no water or A/C. Called to check out and the elevators were not working. Two trips up and down from the seventh floor in a stairway that was at least 100 degrees left me drained. Never received an explanation from the hotel. Through it all we found a better hotel, The Shoreline. See review.

Stayed for 3 nights. Unless you use a discount site to book this hotel it isnt worth the rate. It appears that they have done some renovations relatively recently. There was a security man in the lobby every night. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of towels. We did not have the hot water problem that others have mentioned. The front desk and staff were all helpful and polite whenever I approached them. The only real complaint would be that the pool area was completely out of towels and we had to wait on more. Also the pool was completely overrun with kids of varying ages with no adults supervising at 11:00 p.m. making it pretty much impossible to enjoy as a relaxing pre-sleep exercise. I would stay here again when travelling thru or in town for business but not as a destination for a vacation.

03/15/2010No hot water, over charage my credit card by 400.00... hot tub not working,kids running all over the place with no suprvision.. no type of security in hotel...

It would have been great but........

the pool was closed during our overnight stay. It would have been nice if were made aware of that before we arrived. Had we booked for more than one night's stay I would have been very upset. The hotel is nice and looks fairly new. Our room was clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We had enough pillows and towels in our room. My only complaint would be that the tub was not cleaned properly since I did see hair in it and our sink was clogged. I also found a family of spiders living on the curtains but they did not bother us so it was no big deal. I was happy with the one night we spent there.
