We stayed at this Holiday Inn from 12/20/10-12/22/10. There was just the 2 of us and I had reserved a room with a king size bed. I couldn't have been more pleased with everything. The hotel itself...The staff was great! Very helpful and informative when we asked where things were and which subways we needed to take. Never acted bothered by the questions we had. One of them even called the night before we were going to check out to ask how our stay was. The airline lost one of our suitcases and had to deliver and the front desk called us and let us know when it came. There is a restaurant in the hotel. They have a fitness center and vending machines. Free internet access in the rooms (I had brought my lap top). There is even a computer with printer and internet access in the lobby area to use. The room itself was very clean. Of course with many of NYC hotel rooms it was on the smaller side. But it was a good size for just the two of us. Bed was very comfortable. We stayed in a room on the 19th floor with a great view!! The picture was the view from our room. When I made the reservation I was kind of concerned that it wasn't in the "mix" of everything (Times Square etc) but even that wasn't a problem. Everything we needed to go to was only a short subway stop away. There are plenty of things to walk to near by to eat. We ate breakfast at a good place right around the corner from the hotel. There was also a good Thai and also a good Chinese place right around the corner. There is also a CVS a few blocks away for anything else you may need. If I had to say anything I wish the hotel had it would be a fridge and microwave in the room. But even that being said I would most def. stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone else.

My sister and I stayed at the Holiday Inn NYC Wall street November 5-8 2010. We were so pleased with every aspect of our stay. We regularly travel to the city and have never stayed in the Financial Dsitrict before. We were a lttle concerned about safety but had absolutely no reason to fear. The hotel is across from the Federal Reserve Bank. Even in the evenings we felt safe in the neighborhood. The hotel staff especially Tiffany were friendly and eager to assist in any way needed. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel had good food and friendly staff. Our room was clean and looked as if it has very recently been renovated. Although the room is small it was perfect for two guests. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and the quiet surroundings. Great place to stay for a good rate!

Not recommended for family travelers. This seems to be a convenient distance to business travelers to wall streets. But the hotel is not good rated. Parking is available to a close commercial parking lot. For one night parking fee is *USD for Holiday Inn customers. No bath tub. Very narrow corridor and small room.

This hotel is perfectly located in the financial center (minutes away from Wall St, Ground Zero and the South Street Seaport). It's right next to transit which makes the trip from the aiport a breeze. Note, it appears you can reserve a room (we reserved two beds) but they may not have it available (we had to settle for 1 king bed). Thankfully, my companion and I didn't mind. Hotel services were pleasant (and helpful), the rooms was clean albeit wickedly small. I mean the room was SMALL. There was construction outside which you can hear but I figure that's NYC. Plus, it wasn't bothersome. Alll in all, I would stay here again and recommend others to do so. Just make sure you have the beds you need or are willing to compromise in advance (call the Hotel before arrival).
