After taking a longer drive from another end of the island, we felt very accomplished upon arriving into Christchurch proper an hour earlier than estimated. Yet, from there, all our valuable time saved was immediately lost upon trying to find this hotel. Note that the street that this Holiday Inn's located @ is split into 3 separate segments throughout the city. When asking directions from another hotel, the receptionist, a local herself, was unable to find this Holiday Inn her first time she mentioned.
But, she did give us great directions and we finally arrived. The front desk didn't seem too moved about our story, just a simple "you're not the first to have said that." Other than that, the room was your typical Holiday Inn, the room was clean enough. It could've used some dusting, other than that, it was fine.
