We were really happy with our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable. The elevators were a little slow but not terrible. The beach is very tight quarters so be prepared to know your neighbor!

Staff was exceptionally accommodating. We were able to get an upgrade from island view w/queen size bed to an ocean view w/king size bed at no extra charge. Nice pool, beack front location and excellent restuarants on premises. Will definitely return.

Aruba was a big disapointment. Poor beach (very narrow) and no one bothered to clean up seaweed that was washing up. Hotel food was very pricey (2-hamburgers cost us over $* US), room was worn and we were at the end of a long hall. Nearby restaurants were very pricey as well. Too many students busy drinking waayyy too much.

I read a lot of complaints about the Westin on this site (and others) before we left for our honeymoon at the end of July - slow elevators, poor quality food/service/decor. However, we had very few problems. A couple of days the housekeeping staff forgot to replenish our towels and there was a mix up with the rental of the palapas on the beach one day. However, overall, it was a great stay! The staff was extremely friendly. The food we had was good. The staff did tell us that in the winter months, the resort is much busier.

Had a great time, the hotel staff was very nice. I travel often and stay 99.9% of the time at Westin hotels. I was surprised on the condition of this Westin. I needed to change my room because the AC sounded like a lawn mower, the bathroom sink had a crack in it , the room had a musty smell and wasn't very clean. I discussed this with XYZ at the Check Inn counter and he was very helpful and gave us another room. Much better!!! Unless you need to have front oceanview and want to pay extra its really not needed the rooms all look over the ocean at an angle. Again,its a nice hotel. But it needs some polishing. I really couldn't complain I used my Westin points and paid $0.00. I think I would stay else where next time. I checked out the other hotels during my strolls on the beach and found nicer ones. Again, it was nice and had a great time. Just a little polishing is needed..
